Is it true that pig fat is used in Jelly in the west?
Gelatine is crushed bones and that’s what is used here mainly, though you can get vegetarian jelly.
So Gelatine is not Halal, I guess (in west)
No it’s usually not, unless it specifically says it’s Halal, or of the vegetarian variety…
