I thought you wanted help.
i’m using greymatter (vewy vewy secretly). what’s up?
I’ve chmoded till my heart’s content, uploaded in ascii mode, but still I get internal errors when I access gm.cgi.
hmm well i am setting up my site using grey matter…..it works for the time being anyway…i had those 500 internal errors till i realised that the directory which supported “perl” in the server was incorrectly written in the cgi files …i was missing a “/cgi” …so yeah ….u might have a similar problem
I tried that and had changed it to point to perl on my server but no luck, thanks for your help though.
hmm make sure the directory header in all cgi files is the same…i know u aint stupid…but i made that mistake….hmm so u never know
What do you mean by the directory header?
open all your cgi files pointing to perl….and make sure that the first line is the same for every single file….cuz i forgot to change the directory for some files which in my case was “#!/usr/bin/perl”….might be different for u……btw it took me forever to get rid of those 500 internal errors…..but i did…..**sigh**
YES!!! my site is finally up….thanks to greymatter i had to delay it for like ages…..tell me what u think…
