As far as Bollywood movies is concerned, Devdas is definitely on the better end of the spectrum. With an okay storyline, the movie redeemed itself in other areas. I can’t begin to decribe how breathtaking the sets, powerful the music and vibrant the costumes were. This movie boasts a great cast too, who weren’t the best I’ve seen them but good nonetheless. Anyway, I’d recommend it for everyone. The thing that pissed me off though were the subtitles. Distracting innit?
Songs from the movie you may want to check out:
Maar Dala
Hamesha Tumko Chaha

Going to see it this weekend in D.C. Did you see Monsoon Wedding?
Unfortunately, no. Was it any good?
I loved it. So did everyone I showed it to hear in America. Interestingly my family in Pakistan didn’t enjoy it as much. It goes more for realism than the fantastical tone of most Indian schlock. Lovely script, well acted and really defies conventions. Made me homesick as hell too.
Why do u ppl watch lovery dovey indian flicks…..they are retarded movies!
the acting is horrible and one wants to howl at their cheap romances…really retarded bollywood industry!!
nice looks u got here… I mean the site.
I still have to see the Devdas flick, didn’t got the chance as yet. keep up the good work.
Adieu,
Amit
