I made a make-believe boy band here and apparently this is their fate:
The Eejits (that’s what I named them…what?) score a modest hit with “We’re the Eejits”. They perform “We’re the Eejits” on the outdoor stage at the MTV Video Music Awards, but then quickly fade out of the limelight. Ten years later, they appear on VH1’s “Where Are They Now?” along with other flashes in the pan, like the Baha Men and LFO. By then, the boys have all joined the Peace Corps and are schoolteachers in Bangladesh. But they can still harmonize like nobody’s business.
