Some questions: Yellow cars. What's

Some questions:
Yellow cars. What’s up with that?
Why is suicide illegal?
I’m hungry, cold and stressed out. Is that a good combination?
Why isn’t anyone answering my text messages?
Why is everyone either getting married or having babies?

  1. 1) Yellow cars = Dullness in brightness
    2) Illegality of suicide = Being chicken does not need legal sanction
    3) Add mental wreck and insecure to the combination = lethal cocktail
    4) Wot ab’t staring the cellfone and expecting it to ring all day, when you know no one is going to call
    — ” I’ve got wild staring eyes
And I got a strong urge to fly
But I got nowhere to fly to” —

  2. 1 — beacons; “we parked two down from the yellow car.”
2 — actually its the attempt that is illegal 🙂
3 — you could also be drunk and naked
4 — sorry, hard of hearing.

  3. 1. Yellow cars. What’s up with that?
    A. They look like jelly-beans.
    2. Why is suicide illegal?
    A. Discouraging the cowards.
    3. I’m hungry, cold and stressed out. Is that a good combination?
    A. I have gotten used to it.
    4. Why isn’t anyone answering my text messages?
    A. I don’t have a blueberry.
    5. Why is everyone either getting married or having babies?
    A. Fear of dying alone and pressure from parents. BTW, I am not doing either. (At least not until I move to Mongolia and fall in love with a water-buffalo hearding woman, or until my parents arm-twist me into making some unsuspecting girl’s life misserable.)
BTW, I couldn’t post this in the Will Smith thread, Wesley Snipes is Muslim. He converted while he was in jail. I saw the TV interview where he talked about his conversion, etc. Erika Badu is not Muslim, though she covers her head in honor of ‘her roots.’
I do not think Islam is for everyone, including those ‘born’ into it because the parents, relatives, ‘society’ puts them under undue duress. This causes ill/mis-education in Islam and spawns resentment and a sort of twisted self-perception of Islam. On the other hand, I have no problem with anyone accepting Islam voluntarily and with full-disclosure.

  4. 1. they’re groovy.
2,3,4,5: Why is the fact that you asked all four of these questions in one blog entry worries me?
    2. I’m not sure whether you are asking whether suicide is illegal by law or by religion.
    3. heh, that plus your suicide question makes it an even deadlier combination.
    4. what text messages? (((adnan scratches head and checks phone)))
    5. people have always been getting married and having babies. it’s just that you notice it now, and if you are at a vulnerable stage of your life, that observation could be hazardous to your mental health.
“Hehe, you and your adopted children and anti-marriageness!”
DT reminds me of a good friend of mine who has the same aspirations. I’m sure they’ll make an excellent couple. 😉 and if sparks don’t fly, they can help each other out as single parents. 😉

  5. there’s nothing wrong with adopting kids. infact, i was looking it up but i was just making fun of the “no marriage, no kid” ppl. 🙂
After all i’ve heard my friend reaffirm his resolve all the time, so i’ve a right to poke a little fun at his expense.

  6. “5. people have always been getting married and having babies. it’s just that you notice it now, and if you are at a vulnerable stage of your life, that observation could be hazardous to your mental health.”
    so well said.

  7. Being one of those people making his first steps on the long road that is marriage, I agree with the above sentiment.
