And the award for worst

And the award for worst song lyrics goes to…..
Shakira for Whenever, Wherever. Something was definitely lost in the translation.
Close runners up:
L.F.O with Summer Girls and Des’ree with Life.

  1. I personally like Suerte, the Spanish version of the song. Google translates the English lyrics as: “http://www.lyricsstyle.com/s/shakira/suerte.html&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dshakira%2Bsuerte%2Blyrics%26hl%3Den”>Luck than my chests are small and you confuse us with mountains.” I still don’t get what the horse, walking out of the sea and solo mud-wrestling has to do with the song, or what it means.

  2. We bought the Shakira song, listened to it in Spanish and The Younger Sister laughed when Mountains became Montanas in Spanish, The immaturity of it all! DT

  3. Personally, I thought “Because We Want To” by Billie would have came out on top. Although, I have heard this CD does have its advantages, it can also act as a CD Cleaner for your hi-fi, because apparently people have noticed that when they played different CDs afterwards the music quality sounded a whole lot better.

  4. I actually thought the LFO lyrics are hilarious and if you look at it, it’s probably a parody of ridiculously simple lyrics like that Desree song.
