I was at a classy local establishment called Dixy Chicken yesterday, getting some grub for the troops ‘cos Ma is away and none of us could be bothered to cook.
It was my first time there and frankly, probably my last.
Firstly there was a really drunk guy, wearing a turban, stumbling around the place. He was telling this guy, a complete stranger, that he was his best friend and then proceeded to eat his chips. Then he stumbled over to me but thankfully walked away when he saw that I wasn’t going to entertain his idiocy.
At this point, another guy walked in. Short grey hair. Anorak. Short leather skirt. Holes in his stockings. He ordered a chicken burger and a can of Dr. Pepper. I just thought, “This is sooooo weird.” I mean, I didn’t think anybody liked Dr. Pepper.

Yesterday, a colleague wondered into the office, spun around aimlessly and then walked from one side to the other.
Commenting on his Little Bo Peep moment, I asked, “Have you lost your sheep?”
“Oh not you as well, don’t you start!!”
At which point I remembered that he’s Welsh :/

You know it’s going to be one of those days when the morning starts with you putting the milk carton in the dishwasher and the dirty spoon in the fridge.
Sigh.
On the bright side, a friend gave me vouchers for downloads from iTunes. Any recommendations?
